Climate: The area has four distinct seasons.  Summer time temperatures average in the 80-90 degree range during the day and evening temperatures are a cool 60-70 degrees.  The Monsoons usually arrive in late July and continue til Mid September bringing brief rains in the afternoon.  Wintertime temperatures range from 45-55 degrees during the day to 20-30 degrees at night.

Water: People either drill a well, have water delivered by local services, or haul water themselves.  Water storage tanks are common and can be purchased in Kingman, Prescott or Chino Valley.

Utilities: Septic systems are the preferred method of sewage removal in the area.  Propane tanks are very common for stoves,refrigerators,dryers and hot water heaters.  Solar and wind power will give you more than enough energy for lighting, television, and radio.  Satellite television and internet are available.  Enjoy energy independence without feeling cut-off from society!
